These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions made with FurnitureByJDM.com By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Sale transaction is only between the customers (you) and us (furniturebyjdm.com) if you have any questions or need any clarification on anything within these Terms and Conditions, please contact us via info@furniturebyjdm.com prior to placing an order. If you do not comprehend or do not agree to it please do not buy.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Production times and conditions:

Production is a complicated process. It is influenced by qualified staff as well as by suppliers of raw materials such as furniture boards and assembly accessories. We need 3 to 5 weeks to produce your order because, as an Eco Friendly Certified Producer, we do not keep anything in stock. We only produce as much as we sell. In the event of a lack of materials for production on the market, we reserve the right to extend the time of order fulfillment and / or in the final case (the inability to produce your order), even to cancel the order and to issue a full refund of the payment back to the customer.

Delivery times and conditions:

We deliver to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxemburg, France and Great Britain. (All offshore islands and Scottish Highlands excluded)

1. The transport companies we cooperate with deliver goods 7 days a week, including public and bank holidays between 6am – 10pm only upon agreed with the customer. Please note: no contact and/or no confirmation from the customer about presence at the delivery address = no delivery.
2. You will be informed about estimated delivery date at the point of order. We will send you an order confirmation email containing all relevant information like order number, carrier and estimated delivery date. Once you have agreed the delivery timescale and the order is confirmed as available for a delivery, we will do our best to make all arrangements for the most convenient date of delivery and we will notify you to confirm it. Where possible we will deliver on the first available vehicle going to your area. Our goods will be delivered to you within 5 – 7 weeks from purchase date. This period reflects the time it takes us to produce and deliver it to your home. We make every effort to ensure that our products get to you as quickly as possible. But please note that many factors need to be met in timely manner like production of your order, HMRC Customs Documentation Clearance (especially now after Brexit), vehicle availability etc.
3. All items of our range are manufactured abroad (EU – Poland-Germany) and (as mentioned above) the delivery time reflects the time it takes us to produce and deliver it to your home. We aim to meet delivery times provided in the listings however during busy periods or if the factories experience problems in production these times might be slightly extended. If that happens we will straight away notify the customers about it.
4. Please note that on rare occasions your delivery service may be subject to change. If this occurs, you will be contacted prior to delivery to be informed about it and to agree to any changes.
5. Once you agree to accept the delivery and for any reason you are not present at the delivery address, we reserve the right to apply a re-delivery charge of £150.00.
6. We reserve the right to cancel the order when we are unable to contact buyer to discuss the delivery.
7. We cannot guarantee certain time slots on the day of delivery because anything may happen on the way to you (i.e. for any reason the transport needs to wait for customer before you etc.) but the delivery crew will call you 2-3 hours prior to the direct delivery on the date arranged. If you require more notice, please notify us as soon as possible.
8. The transport companies we cooperate with give minimum 24-hour notice prior to delivery.
9. We reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address isn’t secure, for example to a communal postal address or PO Box.
10. It is buyer’s responsibility to make easy access and room for a delivery i.e. leave appropriate instructions if the property is gated and has concierge. The delivery is to the GROUND FLOOR ONLY OR TO THE FIRST DOOR AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS, the drivers do not carry the goods upstairs or any other place behind the first door of the delivery address or within your premises. The drivers are not insured against any damage or injury in you premises. We strongly recommend arranging for at least two strong adults to carry the goods in to your house, flat, apartment because in most cases the packages of the furniture you ordered are huge, awkward and heavy.
11. We may not deliver or may cancel a delivery if a suitable parking space is not provided.
12. Buyer is responsible for carrying goods into the room of their choice and FurnitureByJDM.com cannot accept any responsibility for any damages caused by buyer when shifting the items.
13. The furniture is brand new and packed in its original packaging. It is delivered flat packed for self-assembly. ONLY PICTORIAL ASSEMBLY MANUAL INCLUDED. There are no written instructions. In most cases 2 adults with some assembly experience are required. If you wish to see the manual before purchasing, please contact us and we will send it to you or just download it from our website. Guarantee – 12 months manufacturer warranty.

14. At the time of delivery, the customer is obliged to visually check the product for damage and sign the delivery note for the driver. If you discover damage, please write a note on the delivery document with the driver, take a photo of the damage and notify us by email. We will handle the rest of it.

Delivery charges:

The cost of delivery depends on the size of the packages and mainly the total weight of the ordered items:
• 0 – 250kg – £180
• 250kg – 350kg – £230
• 350kg – 450kg – £280
• Over 450kg – £180 for every 250 kg of additional cargo.
We do not hide the delivery cost in the overall product price. It is just how much it really costs us.

Order fulfillment time:

Taking into account the production time and delivery time, the total order fulfillment time is 5 – 7 weeks. Damages in transport and parts replacement:

In the event of damaged elements / parts (e.g. during transport), please do not worry because each part will be replaced with a new one at no cost. All you need to do is send an e-mail to: info@furniturebyjdm.com give your name and surname, delivery address, order number and describe briefly the elements to be replaced using the assembly instructions (identify damaged elements according to the assembly instructions) – this way we will be sure which elements needs to be replaced. And as proof, send a photo of the damaged element showing the irregularity / damage. In response, the online store will confirm the complaint and provide information on the delivery of new items.

Returns and refunds:

If you need to return an item because it is faulty or as a result of something we have done wrong, we will not charge you for the return and / or collection costs and we will fully refund you upon your request or (if you agree) without any cost for you we will replace the product. If, however, you simply change your mind and wish to cancel the order after delivery, you will need to pay the return and / or collection costs.

Each customer has the right to resign from the purchased of the product at any time without giving any reason immediately after placing the order up to 14 days after receiving the product. In this case please send an email to: info@furniturebyjdm.com provide us with your name, delivery address, order number and confirm your intention to withdraw from the purchase or to return the product:

• If the product has not yet been delivered to the customer, the online store will inform about the acceptance of the withdrawal from the purchase and will confirm it (by e-mail). The full refund will be issued to the source of customer’s payment within 2 – 3 working days.
• In the case of the product already delivered to the customer, the online store will confirm the acceptance of the product return and will inform the customer (by e-mail) about the date of collection, collection costs and will confirm the date of refund to be issued to the customer’s source of payment. Please note that the refund will be issued after inspection of the returned product. Process time up to 14 days.

Please make sure that the product returned is in its original packaging, not used or assembled and in the condition as it was delivered to the customer. The product will not be collected if it was used and / or assembled.

Payments:

All payments are handled by the STRIPE Payment System. Your safety is important to us. As a seller, we do not store or see any of your payment information. (Numbers of accounts, cards, etc.)
